A:AnswerHello. Congratulations on your new electric range! We are confident this attractive range will be a great fit for you, and can advise the height to the cooking surface is 35 3/4" to 36 1/2", depending on the position of the leveling legs. You should be able to adjust to the correct height to match your counter. If you have any other questions or concerns, we're glad to offer further assistance. All the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerWe purchased the cord from the same company we purchased the stove from. We felt it was time to replaced the cord because it was 46 years old. Our plug in is on the floor at the back of the range, and was installed when our home was built. Don't know if this answered you question, but never heard of a direct wired range!
A:AnswerHi Chris - Thank you for reaching out to us and for choosing this fantastic Smart electric range for your home! We truly appreciate your patience and are happy to offer you guidance in this installation. This range can be installed with a counter on one side and a wall on the other given it meets the following requirement in the Specification Guide: "This appliance has been approved for 0" spacing to adjacent surfaces above the cooktop. However, a 6" minimum spacing to surfaces less than 15" above the cooktop and adjacent cabinet is recommended to reduce exposure to steam, grease splatter and heat." Therefore, this installation is approved if you have a 6" clearance to your tiled wall! - Additionally, an over-the-range microwave can be installed above this range assuming the 66" from the floor to the top of the microwave is met, you have an overhead cabinet available, and you have a clearance of 1/2" on the door hinge side so that the microwave door can be opened fully. We would recommend that you review the Specification Guide to learn more about these necessary clearances. Please feel free to reach back out to us if you have any additional questions about this installation. We are always happy to help! -Eliza@GEA
A:AnswerThe backsplash needs to come all the way down to the edge all the way across from one side to the other. It should cover the whole area above the stove.
