I searched questions regarding how to replace the LED lights when they eventually go out, your response was a technician must replace, what happens when it's out of warranty? How can we replace the lights? This is my only concern before buying this... null

Mine too. There are not many internet parts dealers that have listings for this fridge yet. Try going to a parts supplier like https://www.tribles.com/lookup/297717/2267858
They have parts listings and diagrams to find the parts you want to look up.

Hi chicoboaters, thanks for your question! LEDs last longer than a standard light bulb and saves space for taller items with its slim design. Should one of the LEDs need to be replaced, GE Appliance service will be required. If your appliance is out of warranty, then there would be a cost to replace these bulbs.
