You don't have to do anything, if you don't push the button to start the Wi-Fi. It never turns on. Even if it were on the unit transmits very little. It's mostly a receiver. That said, there's no way you can have an EMF free home because it is everywhere. Broadcast radio and TV stations, power lines, and literally millions of other sources.

You can choose not to connect the unit.
