“Is it normal for it to squeal sooooooo loud where we can’t hear the tv or someone talking next to us when it’s defrosting? We’ve had it for 4 days and it’s squealing during the defrost mode for at least 10 min if not longer and defrosting every 2 hours?”

Message support. Mine did this too and they sent me a new (refurbished with exterior dents) unit.
