• No. But with the additional tank I fill mine up weekly, with everyday light use.

• No. It doesn't have any connection like that. There is a sturdy clear hose that connects to the reservoir. The reservoir keeps the container beneath the ice bin fed but the ice melts into the same place and is recycled to make new ice.

• No it does not. There is a refillable container that sits next to it. It lasts up to a week for us and we use quite a bit of ice.
