It is. Why would you put it IN a cabinet ?

This unit does have a convection cooking feature available for use. The space between the cabinets must be 30" wide and free of obstructions. This microwave is for installation over ranges up to 36". If the space between the cabinets is greater than 30”, a Filler Panel Kit may be used to fill in the gap between the microwave oven and the cabinets.
