Yes, all our current over-the-range microwaves, including this model, can be installed over gas ranges and cooktops as long as the combined surface burner BTU rating is approximately 65,000 BTU’s or less. If the 66" minimum clearance from the floor to the top of the microwave is followed there will be no performance or warranty issue.
