• A:Answer It can be installed under a cabinet, even if there is not a cooking surface underneath; however, the height clearances must still be met. There must be a minimum of 30” of height between the bottom edge of the cabinet and the surface below. For more details, see the Mounting Space section on page 6 of the Installation Instructions, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. Q: QuestionI have a GE Profile Performance Sensor Convector convection PVM9179SRSS microwave, I destroyed the over-the-counter light fixture when attempting to replace a worn-out bulb, Is the light fixture replaceable?

• A:Answer We are sorry to hear this happened. The cooktop light is consumer replaceable. We have instructions on page 27 in the manual. It is extremely important to unplug the microwave before attempting to replace the bulb. If you don't disconnect the power, you can damage the socket. • A:Answer No, this model PVM9179SRSS is designed to be installed over your range. This model can't be built into the cabinet. If you use your convection feature and would like to have that feature on your new microwave, we recommend model PCWK15C1WSS. • A:Answer This model will fit in the same space as your prior model, as all 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. However, mounting brackets / mounting holes may be slightly different from model to model. We recommend measuring your space to ensure it meets the dimensions required as noted in the Mounting Space section on page 6 of the Installation Instructions, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. • A:Answer The sound level can be adjusted for mute, low, or normal to loud if desired. Press the Settings button and turn the dial to select Sound Level. Press the dial to enter. • A:Answer To set the time for Convection Bake, you will turn the dial to the desired time and push it. You can then press the Start/Pause button to begin. Please ensure that your unit is installed correctly. If it is tilted too far back, this could cause the door to close on its own. It is also normal for the door of your unit to be hot, as hot air does escape from this area.

• A:Answer This model would make a great addition to your home. All 30" Over-the-Range Microwaves are approximately the same width and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our current 30" Over-the-Range microwave models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" Over-the-Range microwave model. When replacing an Over-the-Range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts and exhaust adapter should also be used.
