Hi - Thank you for your interest in our lovely Profile Convection Over-the-Range microwave oven. The door is not rated for zero clearance. Per the installation instructions: "minimum distance from door hinge side to adjacent wall should equal 1/2". We are glad you checked with us. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
