Hi Scott - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your microwave. We are happy help. We suggest to check the outlet for power by plugging in another small appliance, lamp, etc. Sometimes a breaker in your home's breaker box will trip. If this happens there will appear to be no power to the appliance. Reset the home breaker by turning it off, then back on again (GFCI or GFI (ground fault circuit interrupt) devices detect any current or voltage that may "leak" to the ground and interrupts the flow of electricity. These are usually installed as wall outlets with a Reset and Test button. Most appliances have some current leakage to ground, but do not typically trip the outlet. You will find these devices on 115V or 120V appliances). Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com - Sue
