Hi Tallyboy, I am happy to help. It sounds like you might need an over the range microwave. We no longer manufacture the 36 inch wide unit, but our 30 inch model will fit in the same space. You will want a model that offers an optional filler kit to fill in the 3 inches on both sides, so make sure the model you choose has that option. Thank you for checking with us.
