Hello - Thanks for reaching out with a great question; we'd be glad to help you! The reversible grill/griddle measures 19-1/2" x 9-1/4" and has a cooking area of approximately 15-3/4" x 8-3/4" on both sides. Unfortunately, you cannot use this model on your JGP5036SL1SS stovetop.
