I do not know the difference. All I can say is that I had the GDT665SSNSS model installed in April after waiting several months for it. They kept changing the backorder date. When it was installed they ran it for a few minutes. They never showed me how to run it. The next week, with the first wash and reading the users manual, it did not work. I do not know if it was installed right or a unit problem. They sent a repairman who pushed some buttons and said it had to be replaced. The earliest install date is late June. They say it is again on backorder. To summarize, I NEVER ran it so I do not know how good it is.
