Hi there, we really appreciate you reaching out to us. This unit actually has a hidden vent and the vent is concealed inside the dishwasher door. This provides a clean appearance, seals in sound during the wash cycle, and protects against venting damage to countertops such as Corian or granite. We hope that you find this useful!
