Hello Lou - Thank you for reaching out about our amazing stainless finishes. This is an excellent question we will be happy to answer. The stainless and fingerprint resistant stainless are the same and not much difference will be noticed. There may only be a slight difference in the brightness of the sheen due to the fingerprint resistant coating. Keep in touch! - JB
