-It is lighter, about 8 grams lighter. -It has a 101 degree view vs the old 96 degree view. -It is a blue/black color instead of white. -It is compatible with the new note 7 through usb-c but is also backwards compatible with the included micro usb adapter with : Samsung Galaxy S6 Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Samsung Galaxy S7 Samsung Galaxy S7 edge -it also has longer strap's to help for wearing it, along with better, more comfortable padding around the eyes. - The touch pad is now flush with the rest of the unit and has a dedicated home button to return to the oculus home.

Please try again later.The biggest difference between this and the older model is that this comes with a usb-c connector for the note 7, but an additional connector is included to switch the connector to micro usb. It also comes with a micro usb to usb-c adapter and it has pass through charging with an external usb-c port that can also be used as a usb-otg port for flash drives, card readers, or external controllers.

If you don't own one but would like to take advantage of it, then you can get the newest version or get the previous one.
