“Does this virtual reality head set work with a Galaxy Core Prime?”

NO! my wife has the core prime and I have the S6. It will NOT work on her phone at all. http://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/wearables/gear-vr/ the compatibilty tab shows only the newer devices will work.

Hi Bob, Yes, It will work with any of the manufacturer listed Samsung phones. It also may need to be the lollipop 5.1.1 but I looked at Core prime. They come with 4.4.4 KitKat and are ready for upgrade to 5.1.1. So you are good! I bought the developers edition a couple years back and have been helping as much as I can with reviews an questions. It is one of the best entertainment consumer products I've ever purchased. It started with just a few apps and has grown to hundreds of really cool 360 degree videos and pictures. It has web browser, youtube, Netflix and Hulu is coming. The experience in watching movies is like sitting in front of a movie theatre screen. Hope this helps! Enjoy.
