A:Answerthunderbolt has a display out, it connects to the I-GPU and not the GPU. While the HDMI and display port connect directly to the GPU, it seems that you can have two monitors connected to the mini display port (I don't have a splitter so I cannot test this). In the invidia control panel you can see where each input connects to.
A:AnswerThe brick that is the AC to DC converter will convert both 110V or 220 but if you buy the US model you get the US style outlet plug so then you would be expected to already be familiar with prong plugin adaptors for such situations.
A:AnswerWell, I searched elsewhere for this computer model on sale (yeah, I like it too) and this is the best deal but not by much and the deal here comes with 1TB SSD instead of the other 512GB SSD. So all in all, I think you'll be able to buy this laptop or one nearly the same price and spec (only SSD capacity is different) easily enough if you save for the next 3 or 4 months.
A:Answer15.6" laptop size of 9.8 x 14 x 0.78 inches and weight is 8.58 lbs; so the box will be about twice that size and the weight will come in about 10 to 11 lbs.
A:AnswerI measured the laptop at 2224 grams (4.9 lbs) and the power brick at 839 grams (1.85 lbs) for a net of 3063 grams (6.75 lbs). Gigabyte claims the OLED KD model weighs 4.4 lbs instead of 4.9 lbs, so take that as you will.
A:AnswerIt does not appear to be G-Sync on own display, however since it is 60Hz you can get around this by using V-Sync. It does support 4K@120Hz via HDMI 2.1 if you have a monitor with that HDMI spec, if not it does have a mini DisplayPort and will output whatever your monitor supports. (Freesync/G-Sync). One more thing to add it is color calibrated with Delta E(s) below 1.
A:AnswerYes MvMe drive in main slot and same for extra slot. I'm not upgrading the main one but I have ordered a PCIe-3 1 TB for the xtra slot. I don't want to mess around with putting Windows on it, etc. to make it bootable. The back is very easy to take off and access the RAM and the SSD slots. My SSD had thermal tape already on it, nice touch Gigabyte.
