You only need one per room (or receiver/powered speakers). You will need to plug it into an input available on your receiver. Once you do, music you stream to the Chromecast Audio will play through all the speakers plugged in to your receiver. You can get two Chromecast Audio to get a multi-room setup and play your music throughout multiple rooms (A receiver/powered speaker is required per Chromecast Audio) (For example, a Chromecast Audio in your living room and another one in your bedroom playing the same content at the same time).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You just need one device and AC plug for power and a good WiFi signal. You plug it into the back of your stereo in an aux stereo input. You will need a streaming service like Googleplay or Pandora to make it work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This is intended to work with specific apps on phones/computers via WIFI. Chromecast won't work as a wireless connection for your stereo in this manner.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your remote speakers are self powered, this device will provide the audio signal without the need for wires from your audio system. You will still have to use a chromecast app to send the audio signal to the device in the first place.
