• It will not work with my daughters iPhone 5. I have the Axon 7 and it works great.

• No, I don't believe it will. The viewer requires the Daydream app to work effectively, and there are only a limited number of phones that are running Android 7. It is possible that you could view some virtual reality material by using your browser to locate VR material and after loading it, inserting the phone in the viewer. The results would not be the best and frankly there are cheaper ways of doing this.
