Yes you can use your existing phone number. When ordering from BestBuy.com you will be prompted to login to your Verizon account so you can associate it with an existing number. Your current phone will continue to be active until you receive the new phone and activate it yourself. It's easy to do, just turn off the old phone then activate the new one.
