Hi Nick. While both the Pixel Buds Pro and Pixel Buds Pro 2 offer transparency mode, the latter has an enhanced experience. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 feature refined microphones and advanced processing, resulting in a more natural and immersive transparency mode.
However, it's important to note that using transparency mode does drain the battery faster than when it's turned off. This is because the earbuds are constantly working to capture and process surrounding sounds.
