Does this charger work with hero 5 session null

No, they're different batteries.

This only works for the models before the Hero 5. Hero 5 has a different battery therefore you have to purchase 5 specific charger port. The session series only charges via USB connector with the unit when you buy. No removal battery

As long as the battery is the same as what hero4 has, it think it should work fine.
