There’s quite a bit difference! You can compare all the features on the GoPro website between them, but live on social media, hypersmooth, time warp, longer battery life, and there’s a huge difference in resolution!!

Compared to the HERO4, the HERO7 has several new features, including that it can shoot in higher resolutions and frame rates, can be used underwater without a separate housing, has in-camera stabilization, can shoot in TimeWarp mode (stabilized time lapses), and can do live streaming.
