Mine does the same thing. The only way I found to fix it is by lowering the video quality (defeating the whole purpose of having a 4k camera) My hero 4 black did the same thing.... seems to be a problem with gopro
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is due the rapid discharge from the battery, there is really nothing you can do about this. Unfortunately it is common with all gopro models.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It could be a couple of things. One possible reason is that you may be shooting in the highest resolutions and frame rates. Processing that much info takes a lot of energy, which can generate heat. The other thing to look at is that the SD card you're using is compatible with the HERO7 Black. We have a list of recommended cards at https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/microSD-Card-Considerations. If you use a card not compatible with the HERO7 Black, the camera will try to work with that card, but will continue to fail. That process causes the camera to be in a very active mode continuously, causing the camera to get warmer and warmer.
