It's good, not great. I made an instructional video for work, and ended up recording over it with audio recorded separately. Background noise was the killer for me, so if you are vlogging in a quiet environment it may not be as bad. I haven't researched, but i would imagine you can get a separate mic for the GoPro that will make things much better.
