• The feature is called video stabilization and yes the hero 7 silver and black both have it. The black has a more advanced version called hypersmooth but the silver works very well also.

• It's called in-camera stabilization. The HERO7 Silver has in-camera stabilization, but the HERO7 Black has an advanced version of the stabilization called HyperSmooth, and the HERO8 Black has an additional level of stabilization called HyperSmooth 2.0.
