Gopro support was great when it came to timely responses both online and on the phone, but their actually technical problem solving is not as readily apparent to my extremely small (1) sample size..the issue was with the updates specifically the camera.. Could not update through the app nor with the desktop version requiring Windows10.. Manually is how I eventually got it but lack of a direct link on the homepage led to confusion especially when reading through the instruction in a step by step... The biggest thing I could say that GoPro has a lot of room for improvement with is with their technical writing both enclosed with the product and online. It is scattered with generalities and incomplete among other things and violates numerous accepted standard technical writing outlines and practices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The drone won't fly unless your camera, stabilizer, drone, and controller are all up to date with the latest firmware. It took me about an hour to get them all updated before my first flight with the karma drone. You can update through the controller with an internet connection.

Please try again later.I used the KARMA remote to update all devices,once you have a WiFi connection turn on all devices make sure they are all charged and the remote will give you update prompt for any device needing an update. At least that's how it worked out for me. I'm not 100% but I don't think you can fly until all devices are updated. Hope this helps and good luck.

Please try again later.I had a similar problem you can always do the update Manuely through there website just make sure to go on the app and check if it the latest update. also on the Remote itself is all four thing connected karma, stabilizer, gopro, (theres a 4th but forgot)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had similar problem, don't understand the technical stuff, but had to buy a microSD card for the camera. It is NOT included with the camera. Then also bought an Insignia memory card read so I could put the micro SD into a USB port, then download the update to the SD card.
