No it is not waterproof, make sure it is dry dry dry out or is will get killed

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless you’re flying in the rain or underwater I wouldn’t worry about it! I use the karma grip skiing and I make sure there is no moisture on the unit when I finish. I think just practicing common sense should work out, time will tell for me but no issues yet. GoPro has free replacement so I’m not too worried. I am skeptical on the “waterproof” housing for the standalone setup as far as using for scuba diving, but I’m told it works...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think the Drone or Karma Grip are intended to be used in a wet environment so the exposed ports of the Hero when used with the drone or grip shouldn't be a problem. The Hero has a removable cover for the ports when it's used separately.
