Depends on your location, rural or urban? Lot of Wi-Fi use in the area? It's not made to fly 2+ miles like the higher end DJI models. It's made to take the best video using an autonomous mode.

It all depends on your surroundings. But someone on YouTube flew this thing out 2.3 miles and back... But FAA requires you to fly your done within your line of sight...

Unfortunately, another Government overpowering agency that impinges on Our Personal Freedoms,in "Their Infinite Wisdom,decided Drones Must Be REGULATED & REGISTERED with the Federal Aviation Administration, cannot fly within 5 miles of an Airport, near people,,must be within constant Visual Sight, cannot fly higher than 400 feet. I don't think there's enough Government FAA agents to actually enforce this so called "Anti Drone Ruling" but if you follow these guidelines,there should be little problems.
