I don't think that you can unless there is a GoPro mount that you could buy to put on your camera... the shorty has a GoPro head and needs a GoPro mount to secure anything to it. hope that helps

Personally, I don't feel it is long enough to use as a vlogging stick. Maximum Length is six inches.

Yes. I use this with a DJI Osmo. As long as your camera has the common action mount - it should work with any camera.
Odd question - yes it works :-)
It is a good tripod - you can use it for stationary camera recording. I think the question is more of the camera capabilities, not the mount/tripod.
