Is the lid gasket as flimsy as it looks? null

I don’t think so. As with any pressure cooker, the gasket will inevitably need to be replaced, but despite its lack of sturdiness, the gasket works fine and because it can easily be removed (and replaced when the time comes), cleaning the cooker is a snap.

I don't know why it would look flimsy to you. The gasket is silicone, and it wraps around a wire insert. It isn't flimsy at all. This pressure cooker is well made.

No, it is nice and easy to clean.

I've been using it for 7 months now and it looks and feels the same.

it just looks that way, I haven't had any issues with it. but if u get the warranty they'll replace it.
