I spent more than 4 hours calling and holding for HR Block phone support to get a download link that will hopefully work. I was transferred, disconnected, and given the run around for days. If you have to call, you are basically out of luck. I have used this for years and will never ever ever use it again, too frustrating.

For me, the activation code was included in the email confirmation that I received when I purchased the electronic version from Best Buy.

I had to call bestbuy 4 times and H & R block twice. H & R block finally emailed me a link to download the software. Good luck

The activation code is with your online BestBuy account when you look up recently purchased.

Through trial and error I figured out that your activation code is your KEY CODE which you'll find under your Platform in your Digital Library in your purchase. Hope this helps!

You should have received an activation code via email when you purchased the software.  If you have not received, I would recommend checking your junk/spam folders.  If you are using gmail, depending on your settings, messages from retailers could be filtered to your 'promotions' folder as well.  If you are still having trouble, you can reach out to our Client Services team at 1-800-HRBLOCK between the hours of 7am and 7pm CST.
