“My refrigerator has been plugged in for over 24 hours, neither the refrigerator or freezer is cold. I have a tech coming but it will not be for another 9 days. Is there anything I can try in the meantime?”

Hi there, congrats on your new fantastic Quad Door refrigerator! We’re sorry to hear that you’re having some cooling trouble and would love to help. Since this is a new unit, you will want to allow about 24 hours for the unit to cool down and stabilize. Several factors influence the temperature, and you can find possible causes and helpful solutions for this issue on page 20 of your Use and Care Manual. --- In the meantime, we also recommend that you check the following. Make sure the doors can close and can properly seal: If they do not close on their own, you may need to adjust the leveling legs so the front is higher than the back. Make sure that both the refrigerator and freezer contain a reasonable food load: Closed containers of water, food or non-perishables can help it to stabilize. --- If you attempt these troubleshooting tips and the issue persists, we encourage you to receive service so our technicians can get this worked out for you.
