We know making sure you have the necessary clearance at the back is essential, and are glad to advise the cord is angled downward rather than straight out. We recommend 2” of clearance behind the refrigerator to ensure proper air flow; this should be more than adequate to also accommodate the plug. We hope this is helpful!
