Thank you for your question. Yes, both models 49979 and 49945 will feature a cup rest for both shorter and taller coffee mugs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My unit has one drip tray. You can store the k cup conversion piece inside of it since I use the other one that you put a tablespoon of coffee in instead.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine only came with the thicker one which houses the coffee filter in case you don't use the k-cups. You can remove the drip tray for a taller travel mug.
