Does it beep when done? If so, can it be silenced? null

Thank you for your question. Once the Kettle has finished and the water is boiling, the base will double-chime three times. The notification sound cannot be silenced.

I am going to return mine as the beep is so annoying and no mention of it on the description on Amazon. I dont want to hear it beeping when I've just woken up.
