“Is the low speed very low so doesn't splatter all over as my current mixer does?”

• Yes it is slow and won't send up flour clouds or liquid showers as long as you start out on the lowest speed.

• Yes, it is...I always end with low speed, when I'm finishing, so I won't make a mess.
