“I bought this coffee maker and after only making maybe 10 cups, all of a sudden when I pour in 8 oz water, only 4 oz come out. Defective?”

I didn't realize at 1st that it has the 2nd strainer underneath the one on top and after a couple of cups you need to make sure you rinse that as well. The only other thing would be to make sure you're only using the regular setting and not asking for bold coffee because then you do get a lot less water.
