It’s glass jar and comes with a smoothie cup that is plastic

This was the only blender I found with a glass jar.

The lid/cover is light plastic. the container with the blade is thick glass. The base is sturdy but the skirting of the base is plastic

It came with a glass jar and a plastic bottle to take your smoothie to work or school
