Hello there - This is a really great question! The customizable hardware cannot be used on older GE Café models (prior to 2019). There are no retrofit kits that will allow you to exchange the old GE Café handles with the new Café Appliances customizable hardware. Even though the handles look similar in design, you cannot switch them. We're glad that you checked! -Mikayla@Cafe
