Yes, there is an adapter at BB that plugs into the wall A/C outlet and the other end is USB compatible. This has helped out a lot by kicking my MP3 back to life after my computer fails to recognise it.

The documentation lists charging specs. I just use the USB charger that came with my camera. It works fine. Also, the unit display will show when it's charging. It doesn't matter if the computer recognizes it or not, the charge function is strictly electrical.

Try your cell phone charger, It might fit... and might not. Mne does fit but the radio quite working!

Its okay that the computer doent recognize it, it wasn't designed to communicate to the computer its not an Ipod. It will still charge, it just uses the usb port for power for some silly reason.
