It doesn't record anything natively. You'll need a 3rd party DVR solution for that. With that in mind, since this is a dual tuner, you likely have the capability to record 2 channels at a time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Hdhomerun Duo has two tuners and can record on both simultaneously as long as no other devices are using the tuners for viewing. If this is the case you will receive a written notice on the screen suggesting you stop one of the devices to free a tuner. I personally do not use the Hdhomerun DVR service but use Plex instead which is subject to the same restrictions. I have two Hdhomerun devices in my setup which Plex recognizes allowing more simultaneous actions.
