• No you throw these balls in a sand pit and try to get closest to a small plastic ball. Similar but not the same.

• I think it is more of a structured game than Bocce. You play with 2 teams of 1-4 players. The first team draws a circle and them 1 player from that team stands in the circle and throws the jack (the small) ball. Then another player from the same team stands in the circle and throws a boule (bigger ball) as close to the jack as possible. Then one player from the second team stands in the circle to throw. It goes on until all boule are thrown. I think the circle and the point system are the biggest difference to Bocce Ball. There are plenty of helpful videos on YouTube to help you see if you would like it. My family loves games and it wasn't hard to play this after having played Bocce. Good Luck!
