“can you change channel without the remote...channel and volume”

• I have not found any buttons which will change the channel or volume, the only button that I find turns tv off or on...and pretends to change input mode (although, I have not managed to change input mode, as there must be a very peculiar magic way to hold that one button.) I'll just order a new remote and find peace again.

• While there is a single push button at cabinet bottom right (Power On/Off & Input select) I have never needed to use it. The factory remote works fine for initial setup and my cable remote is fine for everyday operations. If you are rattled by the lack of manual controls, as I was, I got over that with the high end TV this one is replacing. So muck for high end! Good luck.

• If you have Comcast , you can use their remote to Just change the volume after you code in the serial number .

• Yes. There are channel and volume buttons on the television too.
