What they mean is that if you have an 1080p signal as input for this TV, it will work. Some older HD TVs (720P) would only accept 1080i. The catch is that the TV native resolution is 720p, so it will downsample the 1080p signal for the 720p panel (same as for 1080i signals). Most video equipment will have an option for the resolution output, so this is irrelevant in pretty much all cases.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are correct, that is what it means. Older 720p TVs would not accept a 1080p input, only a 1080i. Of course, as the native resolution of the TV panel is 720p, that will be the resolution displayed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the tv can accept a 1080p signal but the display is only 720p, so ideally you would set your source device to output 720p as most HD capable sources will allow you to choose what signal to send to your tv. Cable boxes, video games, bluray/dvd players should all have options to output 720p anyways.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have my ps4 hooked up through hdmi n I get 1080p
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I've read, there are other models within the H3 series that this TV falls into. Those offer 1080p. This model only offers 1366x768 resolution.
