“Has anyone used this TV for gaming? It states it has 8.5ms input lag. That is low! My monitor does 1ms, 8.5 is amazing for a 4k TV. Anyway, looking for more info on this TV. Best buy didn't have an 4k footage running on the display model :(”

I've used it for some PC, XB1 and PS4 gaming and I haven't had any real issues, and I play mainly FPS, COD, BF4, Overwatch, etc and I haven't noticed any real issues from lag. I also have a Vizio P-series 4K that I used game on which was known for its exceptionally low input lag and this tv seems to perform not better, but at least just as well from what I can see. Just make sure you put it on game mode in the picture mode menu.

Please try again later.I've looked high and low for a input lag rating and there doesn't appear to be any published for this tv, so my suggestion would be to buy it and see how it performs for your purposes, its easy enough to return it. As I stated in my last answer to the OP I've done plenty gaming on it and input lag is very minimal.....

I thought response time was the same as input lag but maybe I am wrong. 8.5ms response time sounds good on paper, its a shame there isnt many reviews or videos online describing all the specs and features of this tv. Best Buy website also states that the contrast ratio on this tv is 1200, does that mean 1200:1? If so, that is fairly low for an LED TV. One of the biggest turns off for me, along with not knowing specific input lag times. It looks decent on the store display but Best Buy isnt looping any 4k time lapses or videos on the Hisense tv's. I wish they would. I think I'll wait til more reviews are posted or I find more info online.

It is the last unknown preventing me from getting this to use as a PC monitor. It has 4:4:4 at 4k60hz, looks stunning, and has awesome viewing angles.

Many have stated this is Fine for gaming the input lag is bad for anyone but the Most casual of gamers. theres another answer on here from an offical Hisense rep sates 50ms+ in many shooters when you use a decent sensitivity it shows how bad it really is will get you dizzy. I would not recommend if you game weekly to get this. ALL settings off and gamemode on
