The fundamental problem with the U8H is Hisense made the mistake of using the "cheap" form of "lower-quality" design by making it so the panel of the TV is NOT based on "True 10-Bit" technology. The panel of the U8H TV is based on the inferior technology called "8-Bit plus FRC." As a result, there it causes "Color Posterization" and "Macroblocking" problems. I ended up returning my U8H because of this. We can only hope Hisense listens to critics and makes it so future TV sets do NOT use that inferior "Plus FRC" technology. TV sets today should use "True 10-Bit" technology.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pretty good. About what you would expect from any 65” tv. I’m fairly close to mine as well and really like the TV. It is much better than the Vizio it replaced.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’d say go for it. This is a great TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1080p looks really good after upscale to 4k. But you will see color banding in low Bitrate content. If you are sensitive to that then maybe this TV isn't for you. That's my main negative about this TV is that you need high Bitrate content to overcome color banding.
