“Cannot route sound output to optical output. I connected the TV to a soundbar using an optical cable. But under the Audio Output menu, There are only 3 options (TV speaker, ARC, Bluetooth. The latter 2 gre). There is no optical option.”

The TV supports optical audio output, no menu option required. Once connected, the digital output format may need to be changed according to the content and the audio device's capability. To change format, go to Settings> Sound> Advanced Audio Settings> Digital Audio Out.
