“Is anybody else having problems turning it on from the remote? Once it's turn off for more than five minutes it won't turn on. I need to unplug it and plug it back so it would turn on. Any ideas?”

I haven't had any problems with it turning on or off. Sounds like a defect I would exchange it or call tech support and see what they say.
